DÜNYAYI GEZMEK SEVDİKLERİMLE

Değişik kültürleri, mekanları, ülkeleri, şehirleri görüp gezmek...Sevdiklerimle hatıralar yaratıp onları hem kalıcı yapmak çocuklarım ve eşim için, gelecekteki torunlarım için, hem de sizlerle paylaşmak. Hep yazmak vardı içimde ama nedense müziğim ve resimimle aktardım, yemeklerimle sofraya koydum derin duyguları. Kelimelere dökülemeyenler hep tuvalime ve notalara döküldü. Ama o kadar güzel ki gezip görülenler kelimelerle fotoğraflarla da aktarmalıyım onları.Yaşananlar zor geldiği zaman kaçabildiğim bir mekan blogum. Kimi zaman müziğime kaçar, kimi zaman resimlerime dalar, kimi zaman da blogumda paylaşmak için yazmaya dalarım. Hep yaratmak birşeyleri...bu işte mutluluğum.

Born in Ankara Yeşim Atila began learning the violin at the age of 10 studying at the Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatorium. She played with the Ankara State Opera and Ballet Orchestra while she was still studying. Yeşim graduated from the Conservatorium in 1991 and emigrated to Australia. She continued her studies at Melbourne University-Victorian College of the Arts-School of Music and gained an Honours Degree in Performance in 1994. Yeşim performed with Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra between 1994-1997. She has played for the Australian ballet and opera regularly between 1995-2010. In 2010 Yeşim took up the Head of Strings - Teacher of Advanced Violin and Classroom Music-full-time position at the Geelong Grammar School. Yeşim gained her Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education studying at Monash University in 2012. In 2017, Yesim was appointed as the Head of Music Department at John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School and moved to Perth, Western Australia. She has a 21 years old daughter and 17 old son. Yesim also has an interest in art. She has been doing acrylic paintings on board and canvas since 2000. Yesim says; "I felt the urge to express myself in a different way and followed my instinct which led me to start painting. I believe, having a talent in music, expressing myself through the sound for over 30 years and gaining maturity in creativity; it is a natural process to embrace any other art form. I paint surreal abstractions. I believe that subconscious thought is a leading factor in my paintings. I listen my inner self and paint a picture of my mind.” Yesim loves using violin, music and a woman theme, as well as using only shapes in her work. Yesim has 30 paintings. Her painting called “Fiddle comes to life” was exhibited in 2007 Wyndham Contemporary Art Prize, and paintings called "Sound of Imagination and Dreaming Water" was exhibited in 2008 Werribee Beta Sigma Art and Collectables Show. "Tango Fire", "Crumbs of joy", "Storm", as well as 'Sound of Imagination were exhibited at Glen Era Art Gallery- Turkish and Korean Women Artists Art Exhibition in 2009. Yeşim loves food and travel. She brought her passions of creative arts as well as food and travel together in this blog.

Arada bir insan, oturacak sessiz bir köşe bulup, kalbinin derinliklerine dalıp, ruhunun sesini dinlemeyi öğrenmeli. Kelimelerle dile gelememesi bazı şeylerin, söylenecek bir söz olmadığı anlamına gelmez. İşte ancak o boyuta ulaşılınca insan, içindeki gerçek varlığı keşfedebilir ve yaşar gerçekten sadece canlı olmak yerine! Resimlerimde, gerçekte yaşadığım duygularla bilinç arkasındaki söylenemeyenleri ifade edebilmek için, gerçek figürleri sürreal varsayımlarla birleştiriyorum. Bilinç arkası ve hayallerim... Bunlar duygularımı harekete geçiren en önemli faktörler. Ruhumun sesini dinliyor ve duygularımın, düşüncelerimin resmini yapıyorum!

ABOUT MY PAINTINGS...

Once in a while, everyone must learn to find a quiet place to sit, dive in the deepest end of the heart and listen the silence of the soul. Not having a voice does not mean that it does not have anything to say. Only then, one can find the true self and start living instead of being only alive! In my works, I combine real figures and surreal abstractions to express the connection between the conscious and the subconscious. Subconscious factor is the leading force in my paintings. I listen my innerself and paint a picture of my mind!
